MY STORY

I am Sezai Citak, born on October 1, 1964.

I grew up in Turkey, where I lived until the age of 23. During that time, I met my former wife, and together we moved to Germany, where we built a life and had three wonderful children.

 

My journey into the world of art began about 25 years ago. Living at the Künstlerhof — an inspiring community of artists — I was surrounded by creativity and maintained close friendships with many talented individuals. Through this vibrant environment, I found my own passion for painting and slowly immersed myself into the artistic world.

 

Since then, painting has become an inseparable part of my life. It allows me to express emotions, stories, and visions that words often cannot capture.

 

Over the years, I have had the honor of presenting my work in four exhibitions:

 

• The first two exhibitions were held at the Künstlerhof itself, where my journey began.

• The third and fourth exhibitions took place at a studio on Hirschbergstraße.

• Most recently, my work was exhibited at the Münchner Bank on Nymphenburger Straße.

 

 

For as long as I can remember, painting has been my passion — a source of energy, reflection, and constant growth.

Each artwork I create carries a piece of my life, my experiences, and my deep love for artistic expression.
